RRB also conduct examination for section Engineer job in Railway.
Required education qualification for Section Engineer job is B.E/
B.Tech in different branch of engineering.
Question paper for Section Engineer exam is of 2 hour and number of
question is about 150 but some time it may be 120. there are about 50%
to 70% technical question and rest question are from general
knowledge, general mathematics and reasoning. All questions are of
objective type having four answers choice and all questions are of one
marks. there are also 1/3 negative marking for every wrong answer. in
non-tech. portion of question paper some times English language
question is also present but they are only two or three in numbers.
Almost all technical questions are easy because there are very less
number of numerical questions.
After two or three months from written examination RRB publish their
result on leading newspaper and on their website.there are more than
30% result as waiting list candidate also. There is no interview for
the Section Engineer post. After one month from result declaration
they call successful candidate for verification of documents.
