The AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Govt. of Andhra
Pradesh has deferred the web options exercise process till further
notification. The counseling for PGECET 2012 qualified candidates has
been postponed on the grounds of non-availability of information on
approvals for M.Tech and M.Pharmacy courses in various engineering
colleges in the state. The web options process will start from 12th
November and will end on 18th November 2012.
The inspection teams of the Government are yet to submit the reports
of the standards in the colleges and the delay in this process has
forced the authorities to postpone the counseling (Web options entry).
It is observed that courses half of the colleges under JNTU Hyderabad
region have not been approved.
The number of seats have been reduced due to the lack of approvals
from inspection teams. The web options entry under PGECET 2012
counseling has to commence from 9th November 2012. The certificate
verification process is already under progress.
As per the latest information, certificate verification process will
be continued following the original schedule. New web options entry
dates will be announced by the Government very soon. The process is
likely to start from 12th November 2012 to 18th November 2012. More
details can be obtained from pgecet.apsche.ac.in or appgecet.nic.in .
