Pi's Lullaby, with lyrics by Indian singer Bombay Jayashri, is up for Best Original Song. Mychael Danna's composition received a nomination for Best Original Score.
Life Of Pi is also nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay, Cinematography, Production Design, Film Editing, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing and, not surprisingly, Visual Effects.
The film, starring Suraj Sharma and Irrfan Khan, received no nominations in any of the acting categories.
Life Of Pi has also been nominated for three Golden Globes.
