Mo Yan, the Chinese author, won the 2012 Nobel Prize in Literature with the motivation "who with hallucinatory realism merges folk tales, history and the contemporary" the Swedish Academy said in Stockholm.

MBA Admissions:GMAT exam becoming more popular worldwide...!

The number of MBA aspirants taking the GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test) has gone up by 11 percent in the past one year, reports CSR

According to a press statement released on 24th September, 2012, GMAT exam volume for the 2012 testing year (01st July, 2011 to 30th June, 2012), was up 11 percent from the 2011 testing year.  This was also 8 percent higher than the previous record of 265,613 in 2009

Indian citizens, the third-largest citizenship groups, took 30,213 GMAT exams, a figure that increased 19 percent in 2012

UGC NET JRF Exam June 2012 Category-wise Qualifying Criteria for Lectureship Eligibility in UGC-NET held on 24th June 2012 by University Grants Commission for Jr. Research Fellowship and eligibility 2012.

Criteria for Awarding Junior Research Fellowships Out of the 43957 candidates qualified for Lectureship eligibility (including JRF), 29780 candidates had applied for JRF, while the slots available for JRF are 3200. These 3200 fellowships have to be distributed among the 29780 candidates who come under the consideration zone for JRF. In order to restrict the number of JRF awardees to around 3200, a
methodology has been evolved for allocation of JRF slots among different subjects category-wise. Complete details given below in the PDF document

DSC 2012 Selection process:
Candidates shall be selected on the basis of combined marks secured in the Written Test (80%) and TET (20%) in all categories of posts except PET for which selection shall be on the basis of written test (100%) only, duly following the provisions of Rules.
