This year's Google India's list of Top 5 Most Searched Actors has all the names from the South Indian film industry. Occupying the first position is actor Vijay, who is also considered to be the highest paid South star, charging INR 17 crore per film.
Interestingly, Vijay is also trending today in Twitter, with fans pouring in their appreciation for the actor's achievement through a special hash tag
Other actors included in the list also command high pays – Ajith in second spot (INR 16 crore per film), Pawan Kalyan in third (INR 15 crore), Suriya in fourth (INR 14 crore) and Mahesh Babu in fifth position (INR 13 crore).
Going by the trend, looks like Bollywood fans need to do a lot more 'googling' to make their superstars – Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan or even Amitabh Bachchan – climb up this chart the next year.
As 2013 comes to close, the list of top videos is a good reflection of the popular, fast growing and buzzing videos of the year. These are some of the videos, channels and moments that shaped our year. While each annual list is unpredictable, trending videos just get bigger each year.
Trilogy trailers of superhero Krissh, Dhoom 3 with Aamir khan and a comedy short film in Telgu titled 'viva' took the top slots of the trending videos of the year. Comedy nights with kapil, Top 10 best catches in cricket history, MTV roadies and made for web content 'Gangs of social media' kept the audience glued to YouTube in 2013.
Indians watched Krrish 3 Trailer more than 19 million times, making it the top trending video of 2013.
Here are the top trending videos for 2013:

'Dhoom 3' manages to deliver a typically Bollywood revenge saga in a modern way. The suspense and the emotional quotient added to the speed and stunts make the movie as spectacular as it promises to be. Acharya brings to the audience an enthralling script and executes it equally well. The movie is sure to keep you hooked; go and watch it for Aamir!
To give you your money's worth there's a star cast. There's Katrina's great glamour, there's Uday Chopra's foolhardy comedy and there's Abhishek Bachchan's machismo. There are songs, there's action and there's everything you would want to see in a big ticket movie. What's missing is that something, which makes an Aamir Khan movie a cut above the rest.
Dhoom: 3 is fun while it lasts, but it might not leave the viewer with the sense of having watched a film that is truly unique.
But watch it all the same for Aamir Khan and the hi-jinks.

The announcement made by the web giant indicated a major change to its popular Gmail service: Images embedded in emails will now be automatically displayed, saving users from clicking on a "display images" link and, Google claims, making "your messages more safe and secure."
Gmail will start serving images through its proxy servers rather than serve images directly from their external hosts. This allows Google to check the images for viruses and malware before an image is showed in Gmail. This extra step means that it is now secure enough to let Gmail users see images displayed in desktop browsers and in mobile devices running iOS and Android.
Well, in case you don't like the new change, you have the option of turning it off.
