ISRO Notification November 2011 for the Recruitment of Assistants and Junior Personal Assistants in ISRO
Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) a premier organization of the Department of Defence (DOD) has invited online applications from Indian Citizens for the Recruitment of Assistants and Junior Personal Assistants across several centers and units across India.The Recruitment is notified by the ISRO vide ADVT. No. ISRO HQ:ICRB:03:2011 dated 22.11.2011
Eligible and Interested candidates must send their Online Applications to ISRO after checking the Eligibility Criteria,Age Limit and other conditions from the Detailed Advertisement given at the end of this post.

Post No.1 Assistants: Age Limit : 26 years (as on 12.11.2011) Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs.2,400/-,Number of Vacancies: 324 posts,
- Educational Qualifications: Graduation in Arts/Commerce/ Management/ Science/ Computer Applications with First Class as declared by the University with Knowledge of Computers
Post No.1 Junior Personal Assistants: Age Limit : 26 years (as on 12.11.2011) Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs.2,400/-,Number of Vacancies: 226 posts,
- Educational Qualifications: Graduation in Arts/Commerce/ Management/ Science/ Computer Applications with First Class as declared by the University with Knowledge of Computers OR Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial practice with First Class with one year experience as Steno-typist/ Stenographer AND A minimum speed of 80 w.p.m in English Stenography WITH Knowledge of Computers
Application Fee: An application fee of Rs 100 will have to be deposited in the SBI bank by using the Personalized Challan form that will be generated at the time of submitting Online Application.The Challan form that was generated has three parts viz Bank copy,ISRO Copy and Candidates copy.The candidates will then have to deposit the fees in their nearest SBI branch under account No.2034064593 before 15.12.2011.After depositing the fees,one copy of the Challan form is retained by the bank and the remaining two copies will be handed over to candidates.The candidates will then have to send the one part of Challan ie (ISRO`s copy) to the this address Sr. Administrative Officer (ICRB), ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore -560 231 by post superscribing on the envelope "ICRB - RECRUITMENT OF ASSISTANT AND JUNIOR PERSONAL ASSISTANT" with in the seven days of filling application and later than 22.12.2011.The candidates copy of the Challan form will be preserved by the candidates until the final selection.
Fee Exemption: There is no fee for women,SC/ST,PWD and Ex-Service man candidates subject to their submission of appropriate Category certificate (For details read advertisement at the end)
Procedure for Applying: Interested and Eligible candidates for the post of Assistants and Personal Junior Assistants can apply Online at the Official Website of ISRO (www.isro.gov.in) between 22-11-2011 to 14-12-2011.Candidates must carefully fill the ISRO Online Application form by following the On Screen Instructions.After the submission of Online Form,the system will generate an On Line Registration Number that must be preserved for future reference.Candidates must have a valid Email Id in order to receive all the future updates from ISRO.
