Will 'Don 2' reach Rs 100 Crore benchmark in just 2 weeks?
Shahrukh Khan's much-hyped movie Don 2 which was released on 23 December 2011 is getting good openings at the Box Office. The film received a record Nett collections of Rs. 56.53 crore at box-office in just 4 days of its release from India. This is third highest grosser till date after Bodyguard and RA.One.
The collections bounced back on Sunday, after a sight fall in collections on Saturday. With around 20% improvement in collections, the movie is in the race of Rs 100 Crore mark. In spite of negative talk RA.One reaches Rs 115 Crore nett collections. Where as, Don 2 gets mixed reviews from media, but the movie is getting huge mouth publicity with positive talk which is really helping the box-office collections. Making a nett of Rs 8.09 crore on non-working day brings hope to film makers towards the Rs 100 crore benchmark.
With coming weekend coinciding with holiday season and no major release round the corner, the trade analysts are expecting Rs 100 crore nett in just 2 weeks.
