M.A. in Social Work Admission 2013-15
The Dept of Social Work, University of Delhi announces admission to
M.A. in Social Work for the academic session 2013-2015
The Dept of Social Work is one of the oldest and premier institutions
in India offering a two year post graduate degree in social work
This post graduate course is primarily designed for those who seek
opportunities in the field of social welfare and development practice
Eligibility Criteria: Admission to the Dept of Social Work is open to
both men and women having completed bachelor's degree programme of 3
years duration from a recognized university
Bachelor's degree or its equivalent (10+2+3 year) in any discipline
with minimum 55% marks from recognized university is eligible to apply
B.A. (H) Social Work students with a minimum of 50% marks from a
recognized university are eligible to apply
Those candidates who are appearing in the final year examination of
the bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply
Candidates belonging to SC/ST shall be eligible as per Delhi
University rules to pass with the minimum marks
PwD candidates shall be allowed 5% relaxation in the eligibility requirement
Candidates belonging to OBC category shall be eligible for admission
as per university norms
Selection Procedure: Those satisfying eligibility requirements will be
assessed for selection through a two stage process involving; written
test; and group discussion and personal interview
The admission test will be held on 03rd March, 2013, Sunday at Delhi
The new academic session shall commence from 24th July, 2013, Wednesday
